Does your student have a IEP?

If you are a parent or guardian of a child with a Individualized Education Plan you may be interested in the two resources listed below from BCPS Special Education Office:

  • The Special Education Resource Center (SERC) can be found by clicking here.  SERC supports parents of children with disabilities, ages birth to 21.  Its mission is to promote positive, effective partnerships within the school community.

  • Since 1978, the Baltimore County Special Education Citizens Advisory Committee (SECAC) has provided a forum for issues pertaining to children with disabilities.  Our members advocate at the county, state, and federal level to make recommendations and assist Baltimore County Public Schools about issues including the education budget, inclusion, assessments, support services and other issues concerning children and special education services.  To join the SECAC email contact list for updates on meetings and events please email your request to serv@bcps.org

2020-2021 School Supply Lists

Mr. Byers recommends waiting to purchase your school supplies.  A virtual learning tool kit was assembled and available for pick-up this fall.  These kits included dry erase boards, markers, a notebook, pencils, and a variety of other grade-specific tools and math manipulatives that would help make learning at a distance easier.  However, if you'd like to get a jump start on your student's school supply shopping during back to school deals, the supply lists can be found in our parents tab, or by clicking the image below.
